"I come from the underground world and I try to make it stand out through my photographs with a romantic style."

This series of black-and-white analog photographs explores the powerful interplay between shadow and light, where darkness becomes as much a subject as illumination itself. Shot on film, each image is an intimate study of contrast, capturing moments of raw emotion and stark beauty. The heavy presence of black, often overwhelming the frame, invites the viewer to confront the depths and complexities that lie beneath the surface. It’s in the absence of light that form and texture emerge, drawing attention to the subtle nuances that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Through these images, I aim to evoke a sense of mystery, where the darkness serves not as a void, but as a space for reflection, contemplation, and discovery. The use of analog film adds a tactile, timeless quality, grounding these moments in a physical medium that feels as much about presence as it is about absence. In this collection, shadows are not simply a backdrop—they are an active, defining element of the composition, capturing a sense of depth and emotion that transcends the conventional.

This work is an exploration of what is seen and what is hidden, of how darkness shapes our understanding of light, and of the intricate beauty that can be found in both extremes.
